We Care About Jewellery Care
As with all jewellery- it can be subject to wear and tear.
Our jewellery has been made to be worn and loved.
We hope you are happy with your jewellery and just in case anything does happen- we are always here to save the day!
We offer a free repair service for all our jewellery and free resizing for our rings.
For gold plated work- every piece has been expertly plated, however, due to the nature of plating – over time this can wear.
We are delighted to offer free replating for all our gold plated jewellery items.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us for any queries upon repair, plating or resizes- we are always happy to help.
Sterling silver, like other precious metal alloys, can oxidise with time. But properly maintained silver jewellery improves with age and develops a lush patina.
Treat your silver well, care for it properly and it will reward you with long life and a lustrous look.
- Clean your silver jewellery with a mild soap and water solution, allowing the water to bead up, and then patting dry with a soft cloth.
- Store your silver in a cool, dry place, preferably in a tarnish-preventive bag or wrapped in a soft piece of felt or cloth.
- Store pieces individually so that they don’t knock together and scratch.
- Make sure your silver is not exposed to air and light during storage – this can cause silver to tarnish.
- Don’t wear sterling silver in chlorinated water or when working with household chemicals.
Some of our jewellery has a matte finish. Over time and with wear, the metal will become increasingly shiny. This is completely normal. If you prefer a more matte finish, you can rub the metal with a grey 3M pad. We can also re-matte jewellery purchased through our website free of charge.
To discover your ring size, simply measure the inside diameter of an existing fitting ring and check the measurement against our handy chart below.
